Last night we ventured to Edisto Island to eat some Po' Pigs Bo B Q. This "eatery" is located at the Horizon gas station before you get to Edisto Beach. It's owned by a local guy, Robert "BoBo" Lee, and in the summer, it is opened Wednesday through Sunday (off season Thursday-Sunday).
This was our third time going. This time we took the Mr's mom. The place was packed! We all got the buffet. The buffet has a variety to choose from-BBQ, hash, rice, red rice, vege casseroles, fried chicken, veges, salads, etc. At the table, there is several BBQ sauces to flavor your meat-Midlands, Orangeburg Sweet (the Mr's fav), Peedee Vinegar (my fav), Carolina Red, and I'm probably missing one or two others.
If you are ever out toward Edisto, this is a must eat!
We found out last night, they just started taking credit cards two weeks ago!
